While neither the bows nor the zippers are truly the focus of this outfit, I always find that adding little details and extra touches can completely change the feel of an outfit! This is a great reminder for life itself, too. It can be easy to get caught up in the big picture - trying to get fitter, trying to get that dream job, or simply trying to achieve more at all times - but so much joy exists in the little things. In my experience, most of the joy in life exists in the little extra touches, regardless of whether we have the best house, the best job, or the best {insert your lifelong goal here}. So, take a moment to appreciate those random little things that bring you joy - whether it's a zipper, a bow, a cup of coffee, a slice of pizza (clearly, I'm hungry right now), or anything in between. Hat Adventures!
Alright, so I'm pretty boring when it comes to hats. My hat collection mostly consists of beanies, beanies, and more beanies - but I've been seeing so many cute floppy hats over the past year that I've really wanted to go on some hat appropriate adventures so that I have an excuse to buy one! I received this pretty fall hat from my September PopSugar box (more on this box to come!) so I thought that gave me a little bit of an excuse to wear this and go on some hat adventures!
I have to admit, having zero experience in styling hats, it was actually incredibly difficult for me to figure out what worked and didn't work with this hat! I'm still not sure that this combination works, but I think the more I wear it, the more it's growing on me :) What are your favorite ways to wear hats?

Although I’m no longer working in a corporate environment and could probably get away with wearing a sweatshirt to work if I wanted to, I find that going to work is still a fun excuse for me to dress things up a little bit! When you live in a pretty casual town, there’s almost pressure to dress down since no one else is dressing up and it can feel a little out of place to dress up too much!
After spending the last year in Chicago feeling underdressed, my wardrobe suddenly feels overly dressy for a town in Wisconsin! I'm trying my best to pair a little bit of a casual feel to my more professional clothes so I can get the best out of both worlds. For me, it's often a psychological thing. If I dress up and feel like I look more put together, I'm more productive and feel more confident going into the day!
