If you live in a cold weather climate, you'll know what a huge difference the right outdoor clothing can make when it comes to being comfortable outside! I definitely had that phase in my middle school years where I thought I was too cool for hats and gloves because those are what moms tell you to wear. Well, if that's true, I am now way uncool because I absolutely adore bundling up in colorful scarves and hats for the winter. Sorry to disappoint, little me! :P
All joking aside, there are so many cute, affordable winter accessories out there that there's really no reason not to bundle up and be able to look good at the same time! Lucky for me, my mom is the ultimate DIY-er and made me these beautiful felt gloves (so warm!) and I got a bit of her crafty genes so I managed to knit a matching scarf! If you're looking for a crafty hobby to pick up, I highly recommend knitting - it's such a useful skill to have because you can create your own scarves in whatever color, length, or style you're looking for!
What are your favorite winter accessories? Are you knitter like me? Leave me a comment - I'd love to hear from you!
Flowy & Floral ❀

It might be the dead of winter outside but that doesn't mean it can't feel like summer inside! I picked up this beautiful top from target a couple of months ago and have loved wearing it around the house - despite the cold outside! The flowy back and the floral print remind me of warmer days :)
As much as my body cringes at the mention of cold weather, deep down, I know that without the cold, I wouldn’t appreciate the warm summer half as much as I do now. So, I guess I should thank the cold - for showing me how wonderful summer really is!
The Girl in the Pea Coat

I'll admit it. I have way too many pea coats. Way too many. But there's something about them that just makes me feel so put together and ready for the day. Puffy winter coats are definitely the coziest and keep me a lot warmer, but I just end up feeling like a big walking marshmallow all day! Before we lived together, my roommates in college didn't know me too well and always referred to me as "The Girl in the Pea Coat". I guess if that's my fashion claim to fame, I'll take it :)
Side note: I googled it and there appears to be no consistency as to whether pea coat is one word or two words. The grammar nerd in me is tweaking out! Does anybody know which one it is? Help!
