It's been about one year since I started seriously posting on this blog and who knew I had so much clothing (ha!). Documenting my style has been such a joy this past year. It's inspired me to get more creative about the way I dress, get use out of every piece I own, and it has been a great place for me to refer back to when I can't decide what to wear on busy mornings! Here are some of the looks I've enjoyed most over the past year - and I hope you'll enjoy them, too!
January Wish List
Apparently, the start to a new year means "yaaaaas home décor!" in my shopping brain. Also pineapples. Sometimes, I don't understand my own brain. A couple of months ago, a friend of mine mentioned how she didn't understand why so many people were obsessed with pineapples - to which I responded that I loved pineapples and getting things that had pineapples on them! I hadn't consciously realized that I was actually actively buying items with pineapples on them until that exact moment. Ironically? I don't actually like eating pineapples. What is wrong with me?!
In creating this little wish list, I've also stumbled upon a home décor box sign with a pineapple on it. If I disappear from the blog for a couple of months - you'll know where to find me - tracking that thing down ASAP!! :P What's on your wish list for January? Are you as obsessed with pineapples as I am?!

If you live in a cold weather climate, you'll know what a huge difference the right outdoor clothing can make when it comes to being comfortable outside! I definitely had that phase in my middle school years where I thought I was too cool for hats and gloves because those are what moms tell you to wear. Well, if that's true, I am now way uncool because I absolutely adore bundling up in colorful scarves and hats for the winter. Sorry to disappoint, little me! :P
All joking aside, there are so many cute, affordable winter accessories out there that there's really no reason not to bundle up and be able to look good at the same time! Lucky for me, my mom is the ultimate DIY-er and made me these beautiful felt gloves (so warm!) and I got a bit of her crafty genes so I managed to knit a matching scarf! If you're looking for a crafty hobby to pick up, I highly recommend knitting - it's such a useful skill to have because you can create your own scarves in whatever color, length, or style you're looking for!
What are your favorite winter accessories? Are you knitter like me? Leave me a comment - I'd love to hear from you!
