There are about a million happy word that come to mind when I think of a good summer dress. Twirly, girly, whirly and all synonyms for fun! - But one word that always comes to mind when I wear a good summer dress is the word "free”. For me, dresses feel less constricting than jeans or even yoga pants and the way a dress moves always encourages me to be a little more free and fun with my choices. For anyone out there who’s type A like myself, you’ll understand when I say that sometimes there are so many things to do and places to go that it’s hard to stop and appreciate the little things around you.
Maybe this is too deep for a dress but in an odd way, I feel like dresses encourage me to do just that. To hit pause for a second and feel happy about something as simple as wearing a dress. Because in that one moment when I remember I’m wearing a twirly, whirly, girly, fun-filled dress, I’m free 😃 ❤️
