So, I'm a color person. I'm one of those people that walks into a room and wants to paint every single wall a different color and get matching throw pillows for each wall. Seriously, I love colors. I've learned over the years, however, that colors like blue, gray, or black, while they may not be as loud on their own, should still be appreciated in their own rights! After all, they're still colors aren't they?

As much as I love bright, vibrant colors, there are definitely days where muted colors are more my cup of tea. Muted colors tend to give off more of a sophisticated vibe and on those rare days where I want to look more "grown-up", I always gravitate towards muted tones. Plus - one of the best ways to show off a new lipstick? Wearing muted colors to really let a bright lip color shine! What are your favorite ways to wear muted tones?
