I still remember my pre-teen angst days when I absolutely hated turtlenecks. My mom used to dress me in turtlenecks all the time because hello, we live in Wisconsin and as a responsible parent that's what you do when it's negative 20 outdoors. It wasn't until about 10 years too late that I started to actually appreciate turtlenecks! As much as I'd love to be the cool girl that always dresses in 10 stylish coordinated layers during the winter, in reality, I'm usually the lazy girl that prefers to throw on one top that covers all my bases.
This cozy turtleneck from H&M does just that for me. It's warm, cozy, and makes me look like a decently well put together human being without requiring too much effort! The pre-teen in me would cringe at this outfit but the 20-something me couldn’t love it more :) What are your favorite cozy and simple combinations for winter?
